P630-F174 Vintage Elgin Hour Glass Shape Wristwatch 14k gold filled Serviced. This is a much sought after shaped watch and usually bring very good money at auction. I just finished cleaning, oiling and timing the watch. It has a new balance complete and is keeping good time. It measures 35mm x 25mm not measuring the crown. There is some minor brassing on the edges of the back and the lugs. In my opinion it is not significant. The crystal has some imperfections on the side but in my opinion it is not necessary to change it but for an additions $15 I will try to find a new crystal and install it. It is functioning fine. It has a genuine leather band which came with it but it looks almost new and I don't believe it is necessary to change it. There are a few tiny spots on the dial and some dirt not visible because it is under the bezel so I don't think it is necessary to have the dial reworked it looks to be original and is generally ok. $79.00 |
